Remember...Moments

These are my favorite kinds of photos and I am fortunate to be able to be home with the kids to capture them.

Take Note

My little guy was so proud when he could finally reach the tap to wash his hands on his own. Such a simple thing yet it's another milestone albeit small that he's reached. So many of the milestones at this age are little but so worth remembering down the road.

An SCT Sketch 1.22

The Tuesday sketch challenge at Scrapbook and Cards Today was this fabulous Pagemap.

I love those hexagons and here is what I came up with:

{supplies-patterned paper MME, AE/Studio Calico; stickers MME; alphas Prima, gems Doodlebug}

The most fun was using my Cameo to cut the hexagons on the background. I designed a cut file all by little lonesome ;)), I plan to make use of this sketch again, it's a great one!

Thanks for stopping by :)

Project Life 2013-Week One

*I have to apologize as I had forgotten to finish this post but better late than never!*******

So it's a short week to get myself on the Monday to Sunday timeline I plan to follow for this year's Project Life. I have not used up all of the Clementine core kit I purchased last year so the 2013 edition will be a combition of Clementine and Seafoam(once it arrives).

Week 1
this week is a combination of family happenings and a photo challenge. Simple but when you're sleep deprived from New Year's...perfect!!!!

Week 2
That 4x6 upper left card is from the Seafoam PL core kit which arrived at my home very quick! The "2" is a Thicker number. I had fun adding text to my photos, one of my goals for 2013 is to learn to do more neat things in PSE.

Thanks for looking!

Project Life 2013...the beginning

So happy I stuck with Project Life last year and now energized to start the 2013 edition.

Here is my title page,

I have dug in to my stash and used products from a past Studio Calico kit with the addition of the SC hexagon wood veneers.
I plan to stick with my one page per week approach unless two+ pages are needed so that would mean I have a page to "fill in". I subscribe to a bible verse per day so I decided to fill the back of the title page with the first week of verses,
If you look closely you'll notice that January 4th is missing, I have no idea what I did but I was looking at it and must have hit delete by accident because I couldn't find it.

Thanks for looking!

Project Life 2012-Wrapping It All Up

Before I share my Project Life 2013 title page and first week I want to share the final pages in my Project Life 2012 book. Well I don't actually have a book for it yet, just trying to decide if I want to use a different album from my current library.

Firstly, I had run out of printer ink at one point and had not printed photos for a couple of weeks so I'm going to begin with the weeks I had missed earlier,

Week 17
Week 18
I had to include a complete "filler" page as I'd messed up the order and ended up with an entire side of a page protector with only the backs of photos. Here's what I came up with,
Now on to the remainder of the project.

Week 44
Week 45
Week 46
Week 47
Week 48
Week 49
Week 50
Week 51
Week 52
That's it for Project Life 2012...

...Hello 2013

Happy 2013!!

Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year, thanks for visiting here in 2012 :)

For the first post of 2013 I have this layout using the Crate Paper StoryTeller collection.

The quote is created using letter stamps, clear stamps, word stickers, alphas and one fussy cut "y".
I found the quote on Pinterest but now I can't find it to link it here, it's Alex's Lemonade Stand.

Thanks for taking a look!
