Family Is...

A new line by Bo Bunny and I made a couple of projects for the Scrap Shotz blog, here is a 2 pager

{supplies: paper, stickers BoBunny; alphas Prima; tiny attacher Tim Holtz}
Left side:
Right Side:
I love the colours and patterns in this line, super easy to work with!

{supplies: paper,, alphas, diamond shapes, trinket BoBunny; stars Studio Calico, mist Heidi Swapp; twine The Twinery}
This was a fun layout to create, the "polaroid" frames are cut from a piece of the pattern paper in the line and I have bordered the pattern paper with twine.

Teresa Collins Stationary Noted

I love pretty much everything Teresa Collins came out with for CHA winter. As soon as Stationary Noted hit the Scrap Shotz store it was in my shopping cart ;)) and I made this layout for the SSZ blog:

{supplies: patterned paper, chipboard, stickers Teresa Collins Stationary Noted}

The design is based on a Becky Fleck Page Map sketch and I cut the hearts with my Cameo.

Next I made this super easy card:

For this card I fussy cut the flowers from the patterned paper and also cut the Hello block from the paper as well so this card was done in mere minutes!

I'm looking forward to more projects with this fabulous line!

Everyday.Happy.Fun.

{supplies: 34th Street Scrapbook Kit, Studio Calico}

As I worked on this layout I was thinking about how much things have changed from when the older kids were 4 years old. Back then we had one Gameboy Advance that belonged to their dad, no iPods or iPads. The little guy won't know a life without handheld electronics of some sort, it's crazy how well he can navigate them without any instruction. I wonder what technology will be available when he has kids.

Project Life | Week 5

Welcome to week 5, another two page spread this week and here it is:

The journal cards are the back side of the filler card on the previous week's layout so you can get double duty from them. I added a few bits and pieces from my stash (SC 34th St.Scrapbook kit, Thickers), arrows on journal card are from the Clementine core kit. The date is stamped with the Studio Calico Basics vol.3 roller stamp and week 5 title card is from the Seafoam core kit.

Here is the left side:
and the right side:
That means one month done and 11 more to go in my 2013 Project Life.

Thanks for stopping by :) !!!

SBC | sketch 330

I discovered this website Scrapbook Challenges and played along with the sketch challenge coming up with this:

{supplies: paper Sketchbook Amy Tan for AC; alphas Thickers, gems Want2Scrap pearls}

I am sorry I don't know the supplier of the washi tape, it was from a monthly kit club.

Thanks for taking a look!

Project Life | Week 4

Can't believe I have another 2 page spread for this week, just too many photos I had to include :)

Here is the left side:
I LOVE the days of the week die cut, it's from Studio Calico and I cut it with my Silhouette Cameo.
I placed it overtop of a filler/journal card from the PL Seafoam core kit.

Here is the right side:
You'll notice in the spread I have photos that were taken in portrait mode on their "side", I didn't want to trim them for the 3x4 pockets or change to a different page protector so this works just fine for me.

Here's a close-up of the die cut:
Thanks for taking a look!

Father's Day

I was so behind printing photos, finally got June 2012 to November 2012 printed just before Christmas so scrapbooking Father's Day 2012 was long overdue!

{supplies: Studio Calico Drive In add-on from Summer of '69 kit}

My favorite part of this layout is the stamped kraft cardstock. It was a very cool triangle stamp included in the kit. A simple design, that's my favorite kind :) .

Project Life Week 3

My Project Life layout has gone live at Scrap Shotz so I will now post it here.

You can view more photos at the Scrap Shotz blog so feel free to click on the link above! I journaled directly on a couple of the photos, something Ali Edwards does that I love! I also used my one of my many roller stamps and experimented with PSE adjustment layers on these photos. My favorite part of this week is our youngest child's drawing. I wish I could capture his description of what he was drawing while he created it, that's what's hard to scrapbook!

Thanks for looking!
