More!!! Altenew August Inspiration Challenge

Hello!
I have a couple more cards for the Altenew August Inspiration challenge.

I have again used the floating die cut technique but this time I inked white card stock with Pink Diamond, Ruby Red and Grapevine crisp ink.

I cut the leaves using the large leafy stem and small leaf from the Angelique Motifs die set.

I cut the centre portion with a Hero Arts rectangle die and adhered the frame to white card stock with foam adhesive.

The centre portion is also adhered to white card stock with foam tape. Both cards are embellished with Pretty Pink Posh confetti.

It was fun to challenge myself to use just dies for these cards.

Thanks for stopping in!

Altenew August Inspiration Challenge

I combined the Altenew challenge with a new to me technique, floating die cuts.

I used the Altenew Sweet Violet stamp and die set and Crisp Inks in Pink Diamond, Ruby Red and Grapevine for the flowers and Firefly, Grass Field and Shadow Creek for the leaves.
I added a bit of pencil crayon to the flower centres in purple and navy blue. The black frame is cut with the Fine Frames Cover die
The die cuts are all adhered with foam adhesive to create the "floating" effect and I've embellished with some Pretty Pink Posh confetti to add a bit of shine.

Thanks for taking a look!

Altenew Spotlight| Antique Engraving Die-Two Looks

Hello!

I often struggle to create sympathy cards that just hit the right 'tone'. While in the midst of organizing my Altenew products and watching a Jennifer McGuire video I came across the Antique Engravings cover die and decided to to create a die cut inlay card.

The outline image was die cut from grey card stock with the Antique Engravings cover die and then adhered to white card stock with liquid adhesive. I then applied Cut N Bond double sided adhesive to the back side the green leafy paper from the Altenew 6x6 Sweet Moments paper pack and ran this through my die cut machine.

The grey die cut is then adhered to a 5 1/4" x 4" white card stock and pieces from the patterned paper are inlaid within the negative spaces of the die cut.

I did have some trouble with some of the smaller pieces of the die cut but since the outline is glued on to white card stock it's not noticeable as the pattern paper has a lot of white space.

The sentiment is from the Wildflower Garden stamp set and it's heat embossed with Pure White Embossing powder.
Lastly, I added 3 frames cut from black card stock with the Fine Frames Cover Die to frame the entire image.

Inlaying the patterned paper means I have a patterned paper die cut to use so I created a second sympathy card, I love techniques that make it possible to create two cards quickly, means efficient crafting :).

This one is super simple, just adhered the die cut to a grey notecard, stamped the sentiment from Birchland stamp set which just happens to be on sale right now :).

I added a few navy pearls from my stash to complete the card.

Thanks for popping in and taking a look!

Happy Crafting!

Lawn Fanatics Challenge #58-Interactive Cards

I loved this challenge! The hardest part was trying to decide what kind of interactive card to make :). I combined a few different Lawn Fawn stamp sets with the reveal wheel for this card.

Here is a closer look at the reveal wheel sentiments:
