Make A Tag!

I Copic coloured this sweet image from You're So Cool, fussy cut and popped up over an inked background.

Moonstone Stickles provide some sparkle on shine on the coat cuffs and hat.

I gold heat embossed a sentiment from Holiday Sentiments set.

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

The monthly prize is a $25 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps December Skrappy Challenge!

   Good morning krafty friends!

It's December, and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

I used Skating Friends, Snowball Fight and Holiday Sentiments to create this 4"x4" gift box.

I stamped the images on kraft card stock in Kraftin' Kimmie Incredible Indigo, Berry Bold and Mossy Meadow  ink prior to scoring the 8"x 8" card stock at 2" on all four sides.

After scoring, I trimmed from the edge up to the score on all each side.

After trimming I adhered all four sides with liquid glue, you can also use double-sided adhesive if you prefer.

Then I created the lid from leftover patterned paper from my Holiday Retreat kit which is sized at 6" x 6", scored on all 4 sides at 1" and then trimmed and glued the same way as the box itself.

I stamped a sentiment from Holiday Sentiments in Berry Bold ink on kraft card stock and layered over a red glitter die cut snow flake.

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!  

You have until Monday, January 2nd to enter, and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN!  Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!

I've stamped the sentiment in Wicked Black on kraft cardstock and fussy cut. I created a forest of trees with the new Krafty Scenery 4 stencil!

 I then used a paint pen to create a gentle forest snowfall!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps November Krafty Peeks Day Three! Skating Friends!

 

   Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the November Release 

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a wonderful winter set

Neda Sadreddin called...

SKATING FRIENDS!

You'll notice this awesome set coordinates with yesterday's SNOWBALL FIGHT stamp set and features our friends taking part in some fun skating activities!

I played with some Distress Watercolour Pencils to create the background and skating pond and also watercoloured the images with the pencils.

I used Distress Snowfall Grit Paste to create the snow banks around the ice and a little bit of Icicle Crackle Paste over the ice.

As you hop around the design team's blogs today you'll be able to check out SKATING FRIENDS! in action in combination with a lot of our other new November Kraftin' Kimmie products!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps November Krafty Peeks Day 1! Holiday Sentiments!

 

          Who's ready for lots of brand new Krafty goodies?!

It's time for our November Release Peeks to begin 

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we’re featuring an awesome Christmas sentiment set,

designed by Sabrina van Vlotten

 and it's called.....

HOLIDAY SENTIMENTS!

You'll find lots of funny, punny and traditional holiday sentiments in this set! Really, something for everyone - even the naughtiest! 

One of my favourite techniques for Christmas cards is heat embossing and this sentiment is perfect for the technique!

I paired this sentiment heat embossed with Ranger Red Tinsel embossing powder with Sizzex Crystal Glaze and the new Cool Crystals stencil!

I finished the card off with some red pearl embellishments from my stash.
