On to the projects!

Craft Your Life Project Kit: Seasonal Blooms

I stamped the large floral image from the Seasonal Blooms kit in Obsidian Pigment Ink on paper from the 6x6 Alluring Blooms Paper Pad and then heat embossed with Crystal Clear Crisp Embossing Powder

Once cooled, I die cut with the coordinating die from the, lightly inked the white card stock with Caribbean Sky Crisp Dye Ink, added black splatters with a Jet Black Watercolor Brush Marker and then arranged the die cuts to create a frame around the page.

Prior to adding the matted photos I also splattered some white acrylic paint mixed with water on the page.

The gold mirror card stock is die cut with the Creative Edges Scalloped Die Set and adhered along the middle of the layout.

I inked white card stock with Crisp Dye Inks and then die cut the letters with the Fine Alphabet Die Set. "Hi" is die cut with the die from the project kit and is a play on words as "hello" sunset and the abbreviation for Hawaii.

Now stamping and die cutting from patterned paper means there are negative portions of the die cuts remaining that can also be used.

I lined up the paper with the stamp set and stamped the image on the front of an A2 size card and then glued the patterned paper negative around the image.

I added a little bit of shading on this image and die cut thanks from the kit dies, below is a closer look as the shading.

I left the image below white since the paper is vibrant on its own.

Craft Your Life Project Kit: Hello Beautiful

Each Craft Your Life Project Kit comes with a stamp, coordinating die, coloring stencil and 3D Embossing folder.
I stamped the image, added a light layer of blue ink with the base layer of the coloring then stencil, then added detail coloring with the Woodless Coloring Pencils, then die cut with the coordinating die.

You can see the beautiful detail of the 3D embossing folder on the gold foil card stock above. I embossed the gold foil card stock and then adhered the colored, die cut blooms with Instant Dimension Foam Tape over the embossed piece.

The final step was to heat emboss the sentiment on black card stock by stamping with Clear Embossing Ink and heat setting Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder.

Craft Your Life Project Kit: Elegant Motifs

You can see already how versatile these kits are and this next one is no exception! The Elegant Motifs kit includes a 3D embossing folder just perfect for slimline cards!

I embossed watercolor paper with the 3D embossing folder and then colored the embossed areas with Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers

Once dry, I added splatters with the Jet Black Watercolor Brush Marker, matted on Gold Foil Cardstock and added a sentiment cut from gold foil cardstock with the Slim Sentiments Die.

I've embossed kraft cardstock with the 3D Embossing Folder and then applied ink with the coloring stencils and a Small Ink Blending Tool. After inking, I sanded the high points with a sanding block to create those "highlighted" areas on the blooms.

The sentiment is cut from black cardstock with the Mighty Alphabet Die set and a few clear drops from my stash finish the card off.

These kits are my "New Favorite" because of their versatility to be used on many types of different projects and I am so looking forward to taking time in the New Year to put them to good use!
