Altenew Build-A-Garden: Magnificent Branch Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 total prizes)

Hello and so glad to have you here from Nathalie DeSousa's blog!

This new monthly subscription has so many creative possibilities and the mini blending brush is a great bonus too!

If you get lost on the hop you can return to the beginning at the Altenew Card Blog at any time.

This large stamp set is fabulous to create two card fronts at one time or fill up a slimline card front.

I've stamped the full image on a slimline card front, colored the base layer with the coordinating stencil and added some darker details with Artist Markers. I gave the card a vintage feel by inking around the edges with Sand Dunes Crisp Dye Ink.

I've embellished with a few Antique Gold sequins and added the shadow around the image with an Artist Marker.

I so love that this is a large stamp because it's awesome to use on a 12x12 scrapbook layout!

I stamped the image on opposite corners of 12x12 white cardstock and colored with the coordinating stencil. Once the inking was complete I added black spatters with the Jet Black Watercolor Brush Marker

I framed the focal photo with Sea Shore Washi Tape and Floral Lace Gold Mirror Die Cuts.

The quote I've stamped on the layout is also from this set.

It was fun to color the petals with the coordinating stencil in different ink colors. I added a little shading to the center of the leaves with the Forest Glades Artist Marker, then misted with Iridescent Shimmer Spray Ink and fussy cut the single bloom setting aside the other bloom for a future project.

I've foiled a black card front with the my foiling machine, the Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover Die and silver foil. The fussy cut bloom is adhered to the card front with Instant Dimension Foam Tape and if you look closely you can see I've colored the areas in between the leaves with the Jet Black Artist Marker and dotted with a Silver Pen from the Must-have Gel Pen Set.
